Not a true marble but rather a polishable limestone, Purbeck Stone is well known for its ability to be polished to a high gloss finish. This process takes place at our Masonry Works at Swanage in Dorset and follows on from the sawing and squaring process. The density and hardness of this limestone allows this process to take place. | |||
